I have the honour to forward
Copy of a letter from Sir Robert Rawlinson, relative to the
attention to be given to the new Reservoir in the Tytam Valley at Hongkong. -
It appears to be worthy of consideration whether the designation "the Tytam Reservoir" which perpetuates the Chinese name
of the Valley in which the work is situated, is not, on the whole, the most suitable.
